New single is out now!

Welcome on the website of singer, songwriter and guitar player Roos Galjaard. Started in Gouda as busker, Roos Galjaard (1973) has musically settled in the north of the Netherlands since 1995 after several long wanderings through southern Africa. Roos has released 6 albums, both as solo artist as with her band Gather Roses. Together with cellist Sebastiaan Wiering she released two albums, Many Hours Still To Come in 2015 and Your Feet Travel Hope in 2022. Since 2011 Roos is touring with Sebastiaan, together they give very lively and passionate concerts. Roos Galjaard & Sebastiaan Wiering: beautiful music with influences from folk, pop, jazz, classical and world music with guitar, cello and voice embracing. In May 2022 we released a new album, called Your Feet Travel Hope. It is the result of our musical adventure, in which our collaboration has deepened and we express our emotions over the past few years. The songs are about life, love, grief, longing and hope. The CDs Your Feet Travel Hope & Many hours still to come are the result of more than ten years of mutual inspiration and dedication and we really hope you like it!
